In January of 2021 I was given the pleasure to be able to demo 5 different drum heads from Code Drum heads, based out of the UK, from their US department out of Texas via Asael Escribano.
This has been a wonderful experience because I absolutely love trying out new gear that would benefit you guys in giving a resource so you as the potential customer have an idea on how the drum gear sounds.
With that in mind I made sure to use the exact same snare drum for each drum head demo. The Hendrix 6.5×14 Bubinga perfect ply snare drum acted as a consistent factor to allow the drum head being used to be one of the defining factors of the sound being produced.
I do understand that you don’t have the same drum that I used or are in the same room but again this is just a way to give you an idea on how these drum heads sound.
